I also have ENBoost and also uses an ENB with effect enabled. Other than this, my game runs fine, on constant 60 FPS with my 1080 Ti card.

I'm afraid to uninstall mods because I can't load any saves at all, and I don't have any saves in small interior cells to load from (for got to hard save inside Dugout Inn, and the auto-saves in there have been overwritten by newer ones). Not even creating anew game works, it crashes before cut-scene comes. Not even saves of completely new games, untouched by mods. Tried save in the subway before I found Nick, which I knew was stable, because I had closed down the game, installed texture improvement mods (some vanilla textures look shit on a 2560x1440p monitor) and it worked fine to load, this time though, it didn't load. Tried save going OUT of Kellogg's house, works but crashes within a few seconds or instantly. After running out of the city for a while, I suddenly CTD.

I thought it was a requirement, but apparently not, but anyway, I started the quest to find Nick, found him go back, got into Kellogg's house, got out of Diamond City (so far, so good). I've now started the main quest, to start the Far Harbor quest. Manage to add a couple of hours of playtime more, like 6-7 hours. I uninstalled VR and everything works great. I started the game, played for a while, came back to red rocket and noticed the bugs, these were caused by bad Visual Reload scripts, meaning I couldn't use my power armor, no crafting station, and many scripts for other mods didn't work either. I start by updating a bunch of outdated mods, takes some time, but eventually finish.

I created a new character, everything worked out well, game was completely stable, but, I eventually stopped playing because certain bugs were present, no crashes or CTDs, though.įast forward to 2018, I finally want to play Fallout 4 again, but I forgot my save had problems.

I eventually decided to do a clean reinstallation of both game and mod, clearing everthing. So, I've had quite the track record with having Fallout 4 crash on me, time after time, on every character.
